A few nights ago, Christine and Will met me for their Old Town Alexandria engagement session and I couldn’t be happier with how the images turned out.  Their session was my first of the year and the weather, while not absolutely horribly, was cold and very cloudy.  Ill take clouds all day long but I was certain Christine was going to freeze! For their Old Town Alexandria engagement session, Christine wore the PRETTIEST emerald green, lace dress with a beautiful cutout in the back and Will looked very dapper in his navy blue suite! Even though it was very cold out, not once did either Christine or Will complain and they were absolute troopers dealing with my shenanigans.  We managed to find a super cool mural pointed on a large garage door of the Torpedo Factory to use during their session as well and managed to find a little bit of greenery in the otherwise frozen foliage.

Old Town Alexandria could be one of my favorite places for an engagement session.  Within a few short blocks we manages to have multiple different backdrops for their images: a waterfront park, row houses, a cool mural garage door, a cobblestone street and the Carlyle House.  Old Town Alexandria engagement sessions will forever be one of my favorites for the versatility and the historic charm! The few blocks we walked was just a sliver of what Old Town Alexandria has to offer.  There are so many more side streets and cool architectural building just waiting to be used for a backdrop and I cannot wait to be back there for another session.

I absolutely cannot wait for Christine and WIll’s 2019 wedding and have them in front of my camera again.  They were so much fun to work with and I know their wedding will be a blast!
