Lindsay and Seth were married during a beautiful Rustic Rockland’s Farm wedding in Poolsville, Maryland.  With pastures of roaming cows, pigs and chickens in the backdrop, their wedding was full of simple elegance from head to toe.

Lindsay wore a stunning lace dress from BHLDN with a tule overlay skirt. Her hair was pulled back in curls and a simple braid with a baby’s breathe flower crown on her head. Seth, in true Southern gentleman style wore an awesome bowtie made of turkey feathers from Brackish Bowties  in Charleston, SC.  So many of the details of this wedding were truly special, whether being handmade from loved ones, brought in from out of state or just details the bride and groom wanted to be extra special and different.

Seth and Lindsay were surrounded by their closest family and friends on this once-in-a-lifetime day and I know the many laughs they shared will be remembered for a lifetime.

This couple truly embraced any idea that I had for their wedding portraits, including stopping a random passer in a vintage red VW Bug, getting into the creek and taking a Gator out to the pasture to catch the beautiful sunset.  Their enthusiasm for each other and the love they share is what made the day so special!

I absolutely love being able to capture the beginning of such a wonderful chapter in a couple’s life and having Seth and Lindsay as one of my couples has been such a treat! Their love for one another is so evident and their kindness and sweet spirit just radiated through the day!
