It isn’t often that I will get up in the early morning hours for a session, but when the couple for this session happens to be one of your best friends in the whole world and her fiancé, you make it happen!

The Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC is such a beautiful setting for a sunrise session.  With the grander of the memorial and the serene waters of the Reflecting Pool it is a favorite of many photographers.  I love how the sun rose behind the Washington Monument and lent some absolutely stunning light on Saturday’s morning session.

I am so happy to call Courtney one of my best friends, and even happier to call her one of my 2016 Brides!
